No credit card required to make a booking. We accept cash, DuitNow online transfer, and major debit cards at pick-up. A refundable deposit of RM 200–500 applies depending on car category, returned within 3 working days after the car is returned in good condition.
Absolutely. One-way rentals between any of our 5 Penang locations are available. A small one-way fee of RM 30 applies. Just select different pick-up and drop-off locations when booking online, or let us know via WhatsApp.
Malaysian drivers need their MyKad and a valid driving licence. Foreign visitors need their passport and an International Driving Permit (IDP). The minimum age to rent is 21 years old. All documents must be originals — photocopies are not accepted.
Yes — all Bluvo rentals include basic comprehensive insurance at no extra cost. You can upgrade to full zero-excess coverage for an additional RM 25/day, which means you pay nothing in the event of an accident. We strongly recommend this for total peace of mind.
Yes — all Bluvo cars are permitted for interstate travel throughout Peninsular Malaysia at no extra charge. Please let us know at booking if you plan to travel to other states so we can note it in your rental agreement.
A grace period of 1 hour applies. After that, a half-day charge (50% of the daily rate) is added per additional 4-hour block. Always WhatsApp us if you're running late — we'll do our best to accommodate, especially if the car isn't booked by another customer.
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before your pick-up time with a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a fee of one day's rental. To modify your booking, WhatsApp us and we'll make changes at no charge, subject to availability.
Yes! We offer weekly and monthly packages at significantly discounted rates — monthly rentals can be up to 35% cheaper than daily rates. Very popular with business travellers and expats in Penang. Contact us via WhatsApp or email for a custom quote.
